Every year, the anticipation builds as we pack our golf bags and hit the road to our golfing destination. This year marks our 4th straight annual trip, and each visit feels like reuniting with an old friend.

Our annual golf trip is getting a desert makeover as we swap Mesquite’s familiar fairways for the wild charm of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Sure, we’ll miss the old stomping grounds—the wind that always seemed to laugh at our slices, the holes we swore we’d finally conquer (but didn’t), and the comfort of knowing exactly where we’d lose our balls. But this year, it’s all about new adventures: teeing off with the Sandia Mountains looming like silent judges, debating whether the thin air adds 20 yards to our drives or just 20 excuses, and fueling up on green chile until someone inevitably regrets it on the back nine. Between rounds, we’ll chase sunsets, swap stories that get more ridiculous every year, and probably argue over who’s most likely to donate half their sleeve of Pro V1s to the desert. It’s golf, camaraderie, and just enough mischief to remind us why this trip is the highlight of the year.
